About The Position

OSF Healthcare’s Cardiovascular Institute, a group of over 40 Cardiologists serving the central Midwest, is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their practice in Bloomington, Illinois, at St. Joseph Medical Center. The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line, headquartered in Peoria, IL, collaborates with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to offer comprehensive services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease. They provide specialized care through CV surgery, MCS, Transplant, Aortic Center, Structural Heart, Advanced HF, Cardio One, Cardio OB, and handle over 300 STEMIs annually.

Requirements

Doctorate degree.
Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
Must meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide care through CV surgery, MCS, Transplant, Aortic Center, Structural Heart, Advanced HF, Cardio One, Cardio OB.
Handle STEMI call, with over 300 STEMIs a year.
