Interventional Cardiologist
About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Interventional Cardiologist in Everett, WA. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient interventional cardiology care, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The physician will round on assigned patients, collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and participate in overnight and weekend beeper call with a 30-minute response time. The position also requires supervising and coordinating with Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners and support staff, and accurately documenting patient encounters in the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in WA or Universal License (IMLC)
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient interventional cardiology care, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Round on assigned patients, collaborating with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in overnight and weekend beeper call with a 30-minute response time for urgent and emergent cases.
- Supervise and coordinate with PA/NPs and support staff to deliver high-quality, continuous patient care.
- Document all patient encounters, procedures, and care plans accurately in the Epic EMR system.
