About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for an Interventional Cardiologist at an inpatient facility in Beckley, WV. The coverage period is from June 29th to July 6th, and it is a call-only role requiring 24-hour beeper call with a 30-minute response time. The primary duty is STEMI call, along with availability for consults on unassigned cardiology inpatients and other procedures. The facility has 2 full-time Interventional Cardiologists on staff, supported by 7 RNs and 8 Techs, with a dedicated call team of 3 RNs and 1 Tech. The EMR system is MediTech, and the trauma level is III. The facility has 2 ER-based Cath Labs with 4 beds in the Cath Lab department. Orientation is preferred the day before the first day of call, with the duration depending on familiarity with MediTech. Temporary privileges are available.

Requirements

• Active WV License or IMLC
• Board Certified (BC)
• BLS
• EMTLA
