About The Position
Centurion Forensic Health Services is partnering with the Connecticut Judicial Branch to provide community-based forensic and mental health services to the Court Support Services Division Alternative in the Community (AIC) programs. This full-time Intervention Specialist role is based at the Stamford Alternative in the Community office in Stamford, Connecticut. The position involves preparing, planning, and facilitating group sessions using curriculum-based interventions, enhancing client problem-solving skills, reinforcing pro-social alternatives, and conducting other skill-building exercises. The role also requires maintaining all documentation and data tracking according to quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years’ experience in social services, criminal justice or related field.
- Experience with individual and group facilitation and group dynamics.
- Strong communication and engagement skills.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
