About The Position
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Intervention Specialist to support students with diverse educational needs in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate will create engaging learning experiences, implement individualized instructional plans, and work closely with educators and families to promote student growth.
Requirements
- Active Ohio Intervention Specialist License required.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
- Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs in a school setting.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to develop effective instructional strategies and maintain accurate student records.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on students' academic and behavioral goals.
- Partner with classroom teachers, related service providers, and parents to support student achievement.
- Track student performance, document progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional development.
- Participate in IEP meetings, team collaboration, and professional development activities.
