About The Position
Catapult Learning is hiring an Intervention Specialist in Lynwood, California, to support students through instruction, advocacy, and mentorship. The role involves differentiating instruction to meet student needs, fostering student engagement and ownership, maintaining academic records, and participating in professional development and feedback. The position is part-time, with scheduling and 1:1 or small-group instruction. It may be performed year-round and/or during summer.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working with children.
- An unwavering belief that all children can learn.
- Ability to use online platforms for record keeping and communication.
Responsibilities
- Customize and deliver lessons, using data to meet student needs.
- Foster student ownership, critical thinking, and clear routines.
- Participate in training, coaching, and feedback to grow professionally.
- Maintain accurate student and academic records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
