About The Position

Legacy Transportation Services is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Interstate Operations Support Coordinator to track interstate freight, coordinate transportation services, and communicate shipment updates to drivers, agents, and operations teams. The position supports the Interstate Operations team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. The role may be based in Reno/Sparks, Nevada; Las Vegas, Nevada; Chicago, Illinois; Buena Park, California; or San Jose, California, with the location to be confirmed. Compensation is $23.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow with a supportive transportation team.

Requirements

Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
Clear written and verbal communication and dependable follow-through.
Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and general computer applications, with the ability to learn transportation management systems.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch support, customer service, or a related role.
Experience working with freight carriers, transportation agents, or service providers.

Responsibilities

Track interstate shipments from pickup through delivery, including schedules, arrival times, and status updates.
Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and services with drivers, agents, and outside providers.
Identify delays or service issues, communicate concerns, and follow through on resolutions.
Arrange labor, equipment, and specialized services as needed, and confirm scheduling and pricing.
Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation in company systems.
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Interstate Operations team.
