Freelance Interpreter in Michigan
About The Position
Bromberg & Associates, a language solutions company, is looking to expand its network of qualified contractor interpreters to meet the increasing demand from its clients for on-site/in-person interpreting services within the state of Michigan. The company is particularly interested in contracting with interpreters fluent in Ukrainian, Zomi, Burmese, Pashto, Kinyarwanda, and Bengali, but welcomes applications from interpreters fluent in any language. While a location in Metro Detroit, Coldwater, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Howell, and Flint is preferred, interpreters from anywhere else in Michigan and the USA are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidates will be proficient in interpreting in medical, legal, and community settings, and must be dedicated, dependable, and authorized to work in the U.S.
Requirements
- Proficient and fluent in target language and English
- High school diploma (required)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience
- Associate Degree or Higher education preferred
- Interpreters fluent in Ukrainian, Zomi, Burmese, Pashto, Kinyarwanda, and Bengali
- Location in Metro Detroit, Coldwater, Lansing, Kalamazoo, Howell, and Flint is preferred
