Reporting directly to the Director of Procurement and Contract Management, the Interoperative Supply Coordinator is responsible for the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of surgical supplies to support safe and efficient operations within the Schroeder Ambulatory Centre. This role provides support to the clinical teams in gathering patient-specific supplies that align with the preference card list and assist with the set-up of the clinical equipment in the operating room at the direction of the nursing team. The role is responsible for maintaining clinical service-specific supplies in the operating room, and service-specific specialty supply inventory levels. The role also assists in quality projects and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the quality and leadership teams, ensuring the right products are available at the right time through proactive forecasting, vendor coordination, and inventory optimization. The position works collaboratively with clinical teams, Medical Device Reprocessing Department (MDRD), Supply Chain, and external vendors to support surgical services while promoting cost-effective and standardized supply utilization. This is a non-clinical support role with no direct patient care responsibilities.
