About The Position

ZipStaff is referring candidates for an Interoperability Consultant role with a client, a global technology services firm supporting a healthcare data initiative. This is a hands-on healthcare interoperability role focused on historical data loads, validating HL7 v2, FHIR, and CCD pipelines, and triaging complex data ingestion issues; it is not a pure software development role. The consultant will also support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), organize data, and document findings in spreadsheets or project management software. Applicants should highlight relevant pipeline validation, ingestion issue triage, historical load, and UAT work. Pure software development without healthcare interoperability standards will not be considered.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of healthcare data interoperability experience.
• Hands-on experience with HL7 v2, FHIR, and CCD.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve data ingestion and pipeline issues.
• Experience supporting historical data loads and data validation.
• Ability to organize data and document findings clearly in spreadsheets or project tools.
• Strong triage, documentation, and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of Java, JavaScript, or cloud platforms.
• Experience supporting UAT for healthcare data implementations.
• Prior work with large-scale healthcare data migrations.

Responsibilities

• Support historical data loads and validate data completeness and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data ingestion issues.
• Validate HL7 v2, FHIR, and CCD pipelines.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Organize data and document findings in spreadsheets or project management software.
• Serve as the primary engine for triaging, documenting, and routing complex ingestion issues.
