About The Position
McClure offers summer and co-op internships for students interested in pursuing engineering or surveying careers. The program aims to provide students with tools and knowledge to prepare for a career in engineering with McClure, while supporting the company’s vision of making lives better. Interns work within McClure’s civil, structural, and planning practice and are encouraged to grow their careers by building on their strengths. Summer internships run from May through August 2027, with flexible start and end dates. Co-op internships are available in Spring or Summer 2027. Opportunities include design, engineering technician/CAD technician, and field internships across several disciplines. Positions are available at McClure offices in Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Missouri, and New Hampshire. The program offers on-the-job learning, meaningful assignments, team building, networking, guidance and ongoing feedback, and post-graduation career opportunities.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of civil engineering, surveying, and industry standards.
- Passionate student interested in an engineering or survey career path.
- Positive and friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in all conditions and terrain for Survey and Site Inspection internships.
- Interested in pursuing a full-time opportunity with McClure after graduation.
