About The Position

Standard Supply’s Internship Program is a 12-week, full-time opportunity running Monday through Friday. The program supplements classroom learning with hands-on experience in branch operations, outside sales, and supply chain functions. Interns are exposed to work ranging from warehouse operations and counter sales to safety and compliance, and develop skills relevant to wholesale distribution and related careers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a related business degree.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Entering junior or senior year of college.
• Must be able to commute to the operation daily.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform branch clerical and administrative duties.
• Support and participate in safety and compliance procedures.
• Assist with warehouse operations and inventory handling.
• Learn and contribute to counter sales duties, supporting customers directly.
• Partner with team members across operations, sales, and supply chain to understand business processes.
