About The Position

Yonkers Contracting Company is seeking motivated students for its Summer 2027 Internship Program. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to manage time well.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10 certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams in the field and in the office.
• Learn the basics of project planning, scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
• Attend site visits, safety orientations, toolbox talks, and project meetings.
• Help prepare reports, logs, tracking spreadsheets, and other project documents.
• Learn the roles of owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors on public works projects.
• Build professional skills through mentorship and hands-on experience.
