About The Position

Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) is seeking a Venues Marketing Intern to support the promotion of events at Capital One Arena and EagleBank Arena. This paid internship focuses on assisting with promotions, marketing efforts, events, and programs. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, hardworking, and passionate about building brand awareness through marketing.

Requirements

Current undergraduate or graduate student.
Innovative, independent, and upbeat.
Organized, able to prioritize work and problem-solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Passion for live entertainment, promotions, events, and creating experiences.
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including grammatical, spelling, and proofreading abilities, with a strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
Availability to work 20 hours/week from September to May.
Reliable housing and transportation to Capital One Arena and EagleBank Arena (Fairfax, VA).
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience shooting and editing photos/video is a plus.

Responsibilities

Providing support for daily activities, events, and projects
Brainstorming creative and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns with advertising, social media, event messaging, and brand campaigns
Organizing, resizing, and managing the marketing department’s digital asset inventory
Assisting with social media strategy and content creation
Designing decks highlighting monthly performance across venues
Coordinating with the Marketing team for event responsibilities, event nights, and fan activations
Analyzing and tracking advertising efforts and updating monthly growth charts for social media accounts as needed
Other duties as assigned
