Internship, Universal Creative - Engineering & Safety, Compliance & Auditing (Spring 2027)
About The Position
In this role, the intern will review engineering documentation for Ride & Show systems - including but not limited to drawings, theory of operations, hazard analyses, and more. The intern will develop working relationships with a variety of internal partners across the project to create and update communications and tracking systems for documentation, strengthening interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, the Compliance & Auditing intern will learn to execute audits on Ride & Show systems' documentation and work with the project team to problem-solve any issues found during the audit.
Requirements
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Sophmore or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Education in engineering
Nice To Haves
- Preferred majors include: Mechanical Engineering, other Engineering or similar.
- Strong knowledge of SmartSheet
Responsibilities
- Work with Compliance lead, engineers, and Technical Managers to communicate audit requirements and report documentation collection status.
- Review and audit Ride & Show documentation provided by vendors and relevant 3rd parties against industry standards and for completion.
- Responsible for maintaining progress reports for documentation completion, audit progress, etc.
