About The Position
The Advanced Technology Intern supports the development of innovative technology platforms by researching emerging solutions, solving complex problems, and building rapid prototypes. This role offers hands-on experience across the full development lifecycle, including design, integration, testing, and implementation of hardware, software, and interactive systems.
Requirements
- In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
- Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
- A transcript is required upon application.
- Strong communication skills, problem solving, data-driven and solution-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred majors include: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Controls, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or similar.
- Lab/project/prototyping experience
- CAD (SolidWorks or Fusion360) experience
- Python, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Unity, Unreal experience
- Portfolio of work examples
Responsibilities
- Contributes to development of internal work in all phases from conception to final release.
- Scope of work may include: Planning, budgeting, design, implementation, installation, testing, adjustment, and documentation; Hardware, software, network, and electronic architecture; Modeling, coding, data processing, prototyping, constructing, and integrating; Sensors, artificial intelligence, mixed reality hardware, mixed reality software, and integrated systems.
