About The Position

This internship is part of the Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program. The Spring 2027 program dates are approximately January 2027 – April 2027. The intern will develop, write, and execute test plans for calibrated test equipment, as well as analyze data and complete reports as required. The intern will review small portions of concept and preliminary design packages, using CAD or SolidWorks modeling and 3D printing. This internship will be an in-person experience, based in our Orlando offices. Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027. Universal Orlando does not provide housing. Interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation. All of our internships are paid, and you may also qualify for housing financial assistance if applicable. The Recruiter will provide specific eligibility details.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Must have a graduation date later than April 2027.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred majors include: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.
  • Preferred coursework completed: Mechanical Design, Drafting, or similar.
  • Experience with 3D Modeling, drafting, 6 Sigma statistical analysis, Python Coding, SolidWorks and/or CAD.
