The CFL (Longueuil Manufacturing Centre) team is looking for a dynamic, creative, and organized individual who wants to contribute to business objectives related to the manufacturing of P&WC engines in a highly technological environment. Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related field of study.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Functional knowledge of English in order to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may come from international organizations, as well as to write and occasionally communicate in English with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure follow-up on work orders in the plant.
  • Provide updates to engineering and management on the progress of critical parts.
  • Track parts from production launch through the progress of priority parts.
  • Route parts to the appropriate client, such as the engine centre, aftermarket, experimental, or NGPF.
  • Analyze priorities for scheduling purposes.
  • Plan production scheduling while evaluating machine capacity.
  • Follow up on and prioritize quality notifications.
  • Interact with several multidisciplinary departments to ensure the smooth manufacturing of parts.
  • Initiate and support continuous improvement projects.
