Internship - Pre-Sales Engineering
About The Position
Fathom's internship program offers on-the-job training, the autonomy to execute meaningful projects, and the opportunity to interact with senior leaders for guided mentorship. This role involves working with major clients across various industries to develop prototypes using Fathom's advanced manufacturing capabilities, including seven different additive technologies, a large CNC facility, injection molding, and fiberglass molding. Interns will collaborate daily with engineers and manufacturing technicians to deliver high-quality prototypes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree relevant to Pre-Sales Engineering.
- Strong interest in digital manufacturing and additive technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous internship experience.
- Familiarity with CAD software.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pre-Sales Engineering team.
- Collaborate with customers and staff to develop prototypes.
- Work with engineers and manufacturing technicians daily.
- Gain exposure to various additive technologies, CNC machining, injection molding, and fiberglass molding.
