About The Position

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is offering internship/externship and seasonal opportunities across various departments including Food & Beverage, Recreation, and Rooms Division. Specific roles include Host, Server, Server Assistant, Food Runner, Lifeguard, Camp Counselor, Group/Teen/Family Programs Staff, Recreation Attendant, Bike Attendant, Pool & Beach Attendant, Naturalist, Kayak Attendant, Front Desk Agent, and Rotational 10-week programs. The resort also offers full-time Manager-in-Training positions for those looking to stay on after graduation.

Requirements

• Must be participating in an internship or externship program.
• Must have personal transportation if utilizing employee housing, as it is located off-island.
• Must be able to remit a $400 security deposit for housing at least 60 days prior to moving in, or ASAP if job offer is received within the 60-day window.
• All offers of employment are contingent upon the results of a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a Rotational 10-week program in Food & Beverage or Rooms Division.
• Perform duties as a Host, Server, Server Assistant, Food Runner, Lifeguard, Camp Counselor, Group/Teen/Family Programs Staff, Recreation Attendant, Bike Attendant, Pool & Beach Attendant, Naturalist, Kayak Attendant, or Front Desk Agent.
• Engage in job shadowing opportunities in departments such as Food & Beverage, Conference Services, Sales & Marketing, Nature Program, Recreation Programming, Front Desk, Tennis, and Golf.
• Attend Resort Orientation on day one, covering company overview, core values, and expectations.
• Participate in over 25+ training classes annually, including Business Budgeting, Diverse Cultures in the Workplace, Kiawah Leadership Classes, Microsoft Office Skills, Supervisor Skills, and Serve Safe Courses.
• Meet with HR internship team throughout the internship for career development assistance.
