The internship runs from August 31st to December 18th, 2026, at the Longueuil location, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site. The candidate will support the customer engineer on a day-to-day basis and work on preparing the entry into service of a new program. This role will involve developing the candidate’s knowledge of the engine and the steps required to introduce a new product in service. It will require interactions with different groups within the organization, necessitating the candidate to independently connect with teams and build relationships to advance and complete tasks. Additionally, the candidate is expected to work with digital teams to optimize working methods and implement solutions to increase the team’s efficiency.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms, and to write and sometimes communicate with international clients, suppliers, or colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Line Maintenance and Overhaul Tools needed for entry into service of new engine programs.
  • Track tooling cost and budget allocated.
  • Maintained tool list – Design & Make status with revisions.
  • Validate new tooling and document tool revisions.
  • Support Customer Engineer with documentation of Engine Maintenance Manual Validation instructions.
  • Track EMM Data Module to be validated as they are released in the EMM Preliminary.
  • Support Customer Engineer with engine request for tests needed to define workscope instruction for the Maintenance Manual Instruction (e.g. Rotor Blend Repairs, Compressor Wash, Engine preservation, etc.).
  • Assist with data mining in PowerBI and excel macros.
