About The Position

Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) is a global leader in aerospace innovation, proudly headquartered in Longueuil, Quebec, since 1928. The Contract Administration team is composed of professionals tasked with the responsibility of managing the operational application of OEM customer contracts. We oversee a range of activities as they relate to the management of contracts with P&WC’s OEM customer base. This is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to work with our customer and our marketing & operations team to ensure customer satisfaction within a constrained environment. There are plenty of learning opportunities within the department and organization.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Business, Economics, Business Intelligence or related areas.
  • Have work experience within domains similar to business and service environments.
  • Understand the needs of a team environment and the dynamics present in such an environment.
  • Bilingual with emphasis on English proficiency.
  • Motivated, driven and curious with a healthy dose of self-discipline and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Contract Administrators to help with a range of tasks such as order placement, SAP transactional activities, and follow-ups with internal customers.
  • Work on a project identified at the beginning of the internship to gain hands-on experience and deliver value to the team, such as creating a dashboard for data access.
  • Manage order entry and adjustments.
  • Support with SAP activity resulting from changes to sales plans.
  • Raise internal requests relating to manual invoices or credit notes.
  • Extract reporting from customer portals and help in assessing the information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, for example with supply chain, to secure accuracy of information (third Party orders).
  • Initiate IT support tickets, system access requisitions, submit hardware purchase requests etc.
  • Investigate potential improvements to data and file management practices.
  • Help with any other tasks of relevance to the team.
