The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
- Pursuing studies in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environment Sciences
- Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues
Responsibilities
- Supporting colleagues on various projects
- Participating in investigations (root causes and corrective actions implementation)
- Performing laboratory tests
- Producing reports
- Contributes to the preparation of specifications for new equipment / products
- Prospects and introduces new technologies to support our chemical processes
- Collaborates dynamically with a world-class specialized team
- Contributes to the evaluation and introduction of new chemicals
- Contributes to projects to reduce the ecological footprint and sustainable development
- Support P&WC suppliers for chemical processes
- Participate in investigations related to chemical processes
- Support production and quality assurance in investigations relating to chemical technologies and processes
