About The Position

This internship focuses on working directly with the MarTech stack, including GTM/server-side GTM, Snowplow, Google Ads, Meta, and ContentSquare, to support data collection, ingestion, validation, and reporting. The intern will help build and improve marketing and e-commerce reporting by transforming raw data into clean, reliable datasets using BigQuery and dbt. Responsibilities include supporting the design and improvement of data models for Looker dashboards, analyzing tracking and reporting issues, and partnering with various teams on customer behavior and performance analysis. The role also involves contributing to monitoring and validation processes for marketing datasets and documenting data definitions and logic.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Management, or a related technical field.
  • Solid foundation in SQL and comfortable writing queries to explore, validate, and transform data.
  • Some experience with a scripting language like Python, with curiosity about using it for data ingestion and automation (e.g., working with APIs).
  • Genuine interest in marketing analytics, digital advertising, and customer behavior.
  • Eagerness to learn modern data stack technologies like dbt, BigQuery, and Looker.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Full proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the MarTech stack (GTM/server-side GTM, Snowplow, Google Ads, Meta, ContentSquare) to support data collection, ingestion, validation, and reporting.
  • Build and improve marketing and e-commerce reporting by transforming raw source data into clean, reliable, and analysis-ready datasets using BigQuery and dbt.
  • Support the design and improvement of data models used in Looker dashboards, ensuring KPI definitions are clear, consistent, and aligned with business needs.
  • Analyze tracking and reporting issues across the digital funnel to identify areas for improvement in data quality, event definitions, or logic.
  • Partner with marketing, e-commerce, and data colleagues on customer behavior and performance analysis using data from tools like Snowplow, ContentSquare, and advertising platforms.
  • Contribute to monitoring and validation processes for business-critical marketing datasets and dashboards.
  • Help document data definitions, reporting logic, and source relationships.
  • Support ongoing improvements in model performance and reporting efficiency by reviewing dataset construction and usage.
