About The Position

This internship focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) within the supply chain and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework. The intern will support the analysis of supply chain information related to social and environmental compliance, assist in developing ESG requirements, manuals, and policies, and input/analyze ESG data to generate reports. The role also involves handling administrative tasks such as filtering emails and distributing documents, as well as assisting in the development of internal training and communication on sustainability and other ongoing sustainability projects.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or HBO+/WO studies in a relevant sustainability field (e.g. environmental science, human rights, etc.).
  • Interest in sustainability topics, such as EU sustainability legislation, sustainable business practices, and supply chains.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Able to work at least 40h/week on internship responsibilities (no school assignments or thesis writing).
  • Available for 5 months starting in September 2026.
  • Must be enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship.
  • Must be an EU citizen, on a Family/Partner visa, or a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands who meets specific curriculum or third-party agreement requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Dutch or Chinese language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support in analyzing supply chain information on social and environmental compliance topics.
  • Providing support in developing ESG requirements, manuals and policies.
  • Input and analyze ESG data and generate reports.
  • Handling day-to-day administrative items such as filtering emails, assembling, and distributing documents and materials.
  • Assisting in developing internal training and communication on sustainability.
  • Assisting in other ongoing sustainability projects.
