About The Position

This internship within the Universal Destinations & Experiences Internship Program focuses on Communications & Integration within the Global Technology & Innovation sector. The intern will assist leadership in developing and implementing internal communication strategies to enhance global connectivity and understanding within the Digital Technology group. This role offers a learning opportunity in internal communication, executive support, and the development of interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. The program runs approximately from January 2027 to April 2027, with applications closing on June 26th, 2026.

Requirements

In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
An official transcript may be required upon request.
Preferred majors include: Communications, Journalism, Strategic Communications.
Proficiency Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
SharePoint required.
Strong writing and proofreading skills required.
Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Superior written & verbal communication skills.
Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
Consistent attendance.
Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.

Passion for technology and theme parks preferred.

Responsibilities

Collects and prepares communication tactics that support the broader Digital Technology team, including town halls, weekly updates, email newsletters, leadership meetings, team initiatives, and more.
Supports ongoing initiatives such as executive roundtables, event planning, onboarding, and orientation.
Oversees maintenance of the Digital & Technology SharePoint site.
Supports the Sr. Manager, Communications & Integration with any executive support that may require design and communication efforts.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
