About The Position

This internship focuses on assisting leadership in developing and implementing internal communication strategies to enhance connectivity and understanding within the Digital Technology group globally. The intern will gain practical experience in internal communications, executive support, and develop interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Recent graduates will not be eligible for this program.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • An official transcript may be required upon request.
  • Preferred majors include: Communications, Journalism, Strategic Communications.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator SharePoint required.
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills required.
  • Passion for technology and theme parks preferred.
  • Must be efficient in Microsoft Office Programs including, but not limited to: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously and/or in teams.
  • Consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and prepares communication tactics that support the broader Digital Technology team, including town halls, weekly updates, email newsletters, leadership meetings, team initiatives, and more.
  • Supports ongoing initiatives such as executive roundtables, event planning, onboarding, and orientation.
  • Oversees maintenance of the Digital & Technology SharePoint site.
  • Supports the Sr. Manager, Communications & Integration with any executive support that may require design and communication efforts.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
