About The Position

Materion is seeking interns and co-op students for their 2026 program. This paid internship offers hands-on professional experience, allowing participants to contribute to future technologies that impact daily life, with a focus on global safety and sustainability. The program aims to help students develop and refine their skills, building confidence for a full-time career upon graduation.

Requirements

  • Junior or higher enrolled in Materials Science, Metallurgical, Mining, Chemical, Civil, Optical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, Communications, Computer Science/IT coursework, Semiconductor coursework, and Geology
  • Curious and creative approach to problem-solving
  • Willing to learn from people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident to comply with ITAR Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Contribute toward future technologies that impact every day life
  • Develop and refine skills through this paid internship
