About The Position

Transformation House offers a comprehensive internship program designed to provide hands-on clinical experience and mentorship from Professional, Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselors (LADCs). Transformation House provides both residential and outpatient treatment programs dedicated to supporting individuals on their recovery journey. They offer a Men’s Residential Program in Fridley, MN & Anoka, MN, a Women’s Residential Program in Fridley, MN, and a Recovery Hub (Outpatient Program) in Anoka, MN (Offering day and evening tracks).

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Addiction Counseling program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for helping individuals on their recovery journey.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating group therapy and conducting individual sessions with clients.
• Participating in weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings to collaborate on client care.
• Gaining experience in all 12-core functions of addiction counseling.
• Utilizing and refining clinical skills in a real-world setting.
