About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an Internist in Newington, Connecticut. The role involves providing comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients (18+). The coverage period is from November 02, 2026, to April 26, 2027. The physician will manage an average daily volume of 16 patients, with approximately 2 patients per hour. Collaboration with a Medical Assistant (MA) is expected to ensure efficient clinic operations. The position requires adherence to a specific weekly schedule: 10-hour shifts on Monday and Friday, and a 4-hour shift on Wednesday, totaling 24 hours per week.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Internal Medicine
- Active Connecticut medical license required
- DEA / CDS required
- BLS required
