About The Position

Under the direct supervision of the Commerce Project Manager, Contractor will assist Commerce by providing the expertise necessary through IT Staff Augmentation Services for one (1) Internet/Web Engineer (Web Developer) in accordance with the tasks outlined below. Contractor and/or Contractor's staff will assist Commerce with the following hourly IT Staff Augmentation Services, also known as non-project-oriented IT personnel resources: Internet/Web Engineer (Web Developer) (Job #2620).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Intermediate professional level role with proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role
• Strong understanding and practical experience of .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, or .NET Core for Sitefinity development
• Intermediate professional level with experience in developing and customizing websites using Sitefinity CMS, including creating custom modules, widgets, and templates
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Sitefinity development experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Develop, rebuild, test, and maintain responsive/dynamic websites and web applications
• Collaborate with senior leadership, designers, project managers, and other developers to meet project goals and deadlines
• Ensure website performance, accessibility and Search Engine Option (SEO) best practices
• Debug issues and provide timely solutions
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and trends
