About The Position

At Central City Toyota, we believe every customer deserves an exceptional experience from their very first interaction. That's why we're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused professional to join our growing Internet Sales & Business Development Center (BDC). This is much more than answering phones or responding to emails. You'll become the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping them begin their vehicle-buying journey while also reconnecting with existing customers to explore upgrade opportunities, lease maturities, trade-in values, and current Toyota offers. If you enjoy talking with people, building relationships, staying organized, and making a positive impact every day, we'd love to meet you. No automotive experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing coaching to help you succeed.

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Positive attitude with a professional and outgoing personality
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone, text, email, and chat
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Goal-oriented with a desire to learn, improve, and succeed
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, inside sales, appointment setting, or automotive experience is a plus—but not required

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to internet leads, phone calls, text messages, chats, and email inquiries
  • Build relationships with prospective customers by answering questions and guiding them through the beginning of the buying process
  • Proactively contact existing customers regarding vehicle upgrade opportunities, lease maturities, trade-in values, service retention, and current Toyota incentives
  • Schedule appointments for customers interested in purchasing, leasing, or learning more about their options
  • Maintain consistent follow-up using our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Work closely with the Sales Team to ensure a seamless customer experience from first contact through showroom visit
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes
  • Meet individual performance goals while contributing to the overall success of the team
