About The Position

Assemble food kits according to work orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer quality standards and applicable regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role involves moving and distributing products, storing products and materials in designated areas, keeping the work area clean, and supporting shipping operations. Team members may also assist with order documentation and material records and use machinery and material-handling equipment.

Requirements

Basic math skills.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in and around industrial machinery.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold-storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry-storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Comfort working around varying noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Move, gather, and distribute products based on production schedules and daily work orders.
Assemble food kits and send them to the shipping department for distribution.
Store products and materials in designated areas and follow established sequences.
Clean the work area throughout the shift.
May assist in compiling worksheets or tickets from customer orders.
May assist in recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Work with machinery and material-handling equipment.
Follow regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
