About The Position

Select frozen food to assemble food kits according to work orders. Ensure kits are accurate, complete, and meet customer quality standards while following regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. The role works Sunday through Thursday on the first shift, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., at $21 per hour. Requirements

Basic math skills.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in and around industrial machinery.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage sites or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage sites while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kg; required weight may be greater depending on the facility.
Comfort working with various noise levels, which can sometimes be loud.

Responsibilities

Move, gather, and distribute product based on the production schedule and daily work orders.
Assemble food kits and send them to the shipping department for distribution.
Store product and materials in designated areas and follow the established sequence.
Clean the work area throughout the shift.
May assist in compiling worksheets or tickets from customer orders.
May assist in recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Work with machinery and material handling equipment.
