About The Position

We are seeking an International Warehouse Operations Coordinator I to act as a liaison between managers, the Warehouse Coordinator, and warehouse employees. In this role, you will provide operational support to the International Warehouse Manager while delivering day-to-day guidance and leadership to warehouse staff. In addition, you will support the needs of internal and external clients by providing exceptional customer service and assisting in the timely resolution of service-related issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), along with one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to prepare and draft written correspondence effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and fellow employees.
  • Current certifications and training in Dangerous Goods Handling, Forklift/Raymond Reach Operation, ISO Standards, WHMIS, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and sign off on all received cargo, documenting any discrepancies identified.
  • Prepare labels for outgoing shipments, including Waybills and Bills of Lading, and coordinate shipment pick-ups.
  • Following cargo check-in, move freight to the Air Export Hold area, ensuring access is restricted to ACR staff only. Any non-ACR personnel entering the area must be accompanied by an ACR employee at all times.
  • Verify that the Air Waybill (AWB) and shipment labels correspond accurately before loading cargo onto trucks for transfer to the airline warehouse.
  • Provide the driver with the final AWB documentation package and ensure the driver is present during loading to validate piece counts.
  • Support the Division/Department Manager in maintaining the company's ISO policies and procedures, and participate in departmental meetings and terminal-wide objectives.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or activities to the Supervisor and/or Human Resources.
  • Provide backup support within the department during peak workloads, vacation periods, and unplanned employee absences.
  • Contribute to team initiatives and collaborate proactively to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Provide flexible support for after-hours calls and assist employees as needed.
  • Perform general labour duties, including manual loading and unloading containers and using pump trucks when required.
  • Ensure cargo is properly palletized and stretch-wrapped to maintain security and stability during handling and transportation.
