About The Position

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator will enter data for shipping/receiving orders and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing shipping and on-hand counts in the warehouse. This role is located at Eaton's ES AMER ESS division at their new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.

Requirements

Minimum two years experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes.
High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50-mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience using SAP, warehouse management system.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic working knowledge and experience with computers.

Responsibilities

Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents of incoming/outgoing material.
Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal and global restrictions.
Serve as a resource manager system (SAP) expert on the team.
Schedule transportation for truckload and less than truckload shipments.
Assist the department in loading/unloading of truck, scanning and tagging as needed.
Adhere to environmental, health, safety rules and regulations.
Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
Use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area.
Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary.
