About The Position

The International Pharmacy Intern is a non-US-accredited foreign pharmacy graduate who completes required U.S. internship hours under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. After passing the FPGEE and TOEFL, eligible candidates may apply. The role includes a mixed-modality learning plan and curated learning experiences that build on the candidate’s pharmacy education and develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in patient care, practice management, leadership, and education. Interns must complete the internship within 18 months and are expected to complete required pharmacist licensure exams and processes within 120 days after completing the internship hours. Failure to meet these timelines results in removal from the role and separation of employment. The intern helps maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment and delivers care to patients. Duties span patient safety, pharmacy practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, inventory, and workflow management, excluding final prescription verification. The position supports patient-care programs and pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, customer support, counseling under pharmacist supervision, and additional health services permitted by state regulation and individual certification. The intern also supports pharmacy leadership, staff training, scheduling, and a clean, organized department. This is a full-time position with a stated pay range of $30.00–$42.00. It is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, retirement savings options, wellness programs, and other resources, subject to eligibility.
