About The Position

Avfuel Corporation provides the global aviation industry fuel and services through its network of branded dealers and international locations. Avfuel is seeking a Billing Supervisor.

Requirements

Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Exceptional multi-tasking skills
Ability to solve problems independently
Ability to handle high stress environments from time to time
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
High School Diploma required
1-2 years Accounting/billing/bookkeeping or comparable experience a plus
2 + years customer service experience

Nice To Haves

Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

Create customer specific invoices within internal systems; monitor and make changes for special and varied billing arrangements
Independently and timely communicate with customers and Sales Team to effectively assist and resolve issues
Meet strict daily deadlines while insuring accuracy and excellent customer experience
Provide absence coverage in the event another biller is out
Coordinate all emails that are sent to the group email box
Train new hires and be available to guide and train other billers in the department
Communicate issues and concerns with manager and sales staff
Other special projects and duties as assigned
Always have a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Willing to step up wherever needed to ensure daily departmental procedures are completed
Reconcile tax listing reports and ensure all contract fuel sales have processed at correct rates. Must communicate and work with suppliers, sales and AP to promptly work through any discrepancies.
Handle all special setups for customers that need to be approved by pricing, sales and IT
Run customer specific reports and send special invoices regularly
Supervise the Billing Associates and workload
