About The Position

Avfuel Corporation provides the global aviation industry fuel and services through its network of branded dealers and international locations. We are seeking a Billing Associate.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential for success in this role
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
• Ability to problem solve independently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to contribute as a team player.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered
• 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting, billing, bookkeeping, or a related function preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create customer specific invoices within internal systems; monitor and make changes for special and varied billing arrangements
• Independently and timely communicate with customers and Sales Team to effectively assist and resolve issues
• Meet strict daily deadlines while ensuring accuracy and excellent customer experience
• Promptly communicate issues, concerns, or discrepancies to the Billing manager and sales team members to support timely resolution
• Other special projects and duties as assigned
