About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking an International Banking Associate (Spanish fluency is required) to join International Banking in Houston, TX. International Banking is a full-service lending group focused on delivering financing solutions to exporters, importers, U.S. subsidiaries of foreign-owned companies, and international corporates. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting clients engaged in cross-border business.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
1+ year of experience managing client relationships or in a client-facing role
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
Spanish fluency required for client engagement
Working knowledge of lending, portfolio management, and financial statement analysis
Understanding of banking products, services, and applicable regulatory requirements
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with clear and effective written and verbal communication
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Responsibilities

Partner with senior bankers on loan originations, renewals, and credit structuring, while supporting ongoing client needs and contributing to client strategy
Manage and service a portfolio of international commercial loan relationships, maintaining strong client experience and retention
Support relationship growth by identifying opportunities to deepen and expand existing client engagements
Perform financial analysis, including spreading and evaluating financial statements, assessing industry risks, and monitoring collateral and covenant compliance
Prepare credit materials and internal reporting to support approval and monitoring processes
Support special projects and other initiatives as needed
