About The Position

Jones Lake Management, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a private equity backed, industry leading provider of professional pond and lake management services. With operations spanning 23 offices, providing services to customers in 26 states, JLM is rapidly expanding its reach through strong, organic growth and a robust pipeline of M&A opportunities. We are seeking a highly motivated Inside Sales Rep who will support our clients; giving advice and securing sales over the phone. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated team player that will bring a strong sense of support to our ISR team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone, giving advice and selling our services and equipment
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong listening and sales skills
• Ability to achieve targets

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, make outbound calls to potential customers; follow up on leads
• Understand customers' needs and identify sales opportunities
• Convert pre-qualified leads and generate new business with existing customers
• Source new sales opportunities for Branch Manager/Regional Manager as needed
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust/loyalty
• Understand and demonstrate product and service knowledge to customers
• Ensure sales goals and objectives are met monthly
• Continued improvement of sales skills to increase success rates
• Answering potential customers' questions and providing support through various methods
• Maintain a database of current and potential customers
• Explain and demonstrate features of products and services
• Stay informed about competing products and services
• Continual upselling of products and services
