About The Position

Our client is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant - West Coast Region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global team, providing top-tier service to existing and prospective clients while expanding the business on a product and global level. The successful candidate will be responsible to drive private markets sales growth by partnering with wealth advisors and financial institutions, leveraging market insights, relationship management, and strategic territory planning to increase AUM and expand market presence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience within private markets or alternatives, with an existing client network and a proven ability to raise assets and grow market presence.
  • Strong understanding of private markets, industry trends, and alternative investment products across private and registered structures, including interval funds, BDCs, and REITs.
  • Deep knowledge of investment strategies and the ability to position alternative asset solutions within client portfolios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing priorities and a busy schedule of client meetings and sales activities.
  • Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a small team environment while contributing to a strong team culture.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required; FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, or 66 required

Nice To Haves

  • CAIA, CFA, or CIMA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional Directors to build and maintain relationships across the private wealth channel, driving sales growth and increasing AUM.
  • Support territory planning and execution through business plans, pipeline management, and the use of data and analytics to identify opportunities and target prospects.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, develop deep product knowledge, and articulate how investment solutions fit within client portfolios.
  • Leverage analytical tools and insights to enhance presentations and discussions with financial advisors and wealth management professionals.
  • Maintain regular communication with Regional Directors, ensuring all client interactions, activities, and meeting notes are accurately captured in CRM systems.
  • Build strong client relationships through ongoing engagement via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions, while supporting service requests and leading update calls.
  • Develop consultative partnerships with targeted financial institutions to drive revenue growth and expand market presence within assigned regions.
