Requirements

High School diploma, Associates, or Bachelor Degree in Business, Communications, Finance, IT, Management, Project Management, or Technology.
5+ years of Public Safety, Project Management, or Program Management experience managing complex deployments is required.
Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers.

Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Prior people Management experience.
Willing to travel (75%) as required.
Willing to work remotely in the United States.
Skilled in using Microsoft Project and similar applications for project schedule planning.
Experience with project risk assessment and risk mitigation strategies.
Self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives.
PMP Certification Preferred.
Able to pass a criminal background check, pass and maintain CJIS Security and Privacy: Privileged Role certification requirements.

Responsibilities

Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services.
Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services.
Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance.
Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics.
Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status.
Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.
Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance.
May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.
