About The Position

Taught in Spanish. Through reading representative works this course introduces students to the study of Spanish literature, paying special attention to questions of critical approach and terminology, genre, literary history, and the historicity of texts.

Requirements

  • PhD in Spanish
  • Native or near-native Spanish language competency
  • Knowledge of media technology
  • Valid pedagogical experience in second language teaching
  • Up-to-date with current scholarship in Spanish literary studies, including recent critical approaches to genre, historiography, and textual interpretation in the Spanish-speaking world.
