About The Position

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned organization committed to providing high-quality care to pets in the community. The Veterinary Technician works in the Internal Medicine Department alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians to provide comprehensive medical care to pets with complex internal medicine conditions. The role is suited to a technician who enjoys building long-term relationships with guests and values communication and patient care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Certification as a veterinary technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and perform diagnostics.
• Assist with specialized procedures.
• Administer and monitor anesthesia.
• Administer treatments.
• Maintain medical records.
• Communicate compassionately with guests and provide education.
