About The Position

MedVet is a rapidly expanding Emergency and Specialty provider with facilities across the nation, dedicated to delivering advanced medical treatments and innovations for animal patients. This role is within the Internal Medicine department, which focuses on building relationships with clients through extended patient care, providing them with information regarding patient care, updates, and treatments. Requirements

Prior veterinary experience required.
Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous internal medicine experience desired.

Responsibilities

Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
Manage appointments, obtain histories and update patients information.
Accurate and thorough documentation of medical records.
Patient discharge and client education.
