About The Position

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Internal Medicine Physicians in Wilmington, Delaware, to provide wound care and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings. The role offers clinical autonomy, hands-on procedures, and the opportunity to follow patients through healing. Comprehensive wound care training is provided; previous wound care or procedural experience is not required. This is a no-call position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and no nights or weekends. Physicians may work part-time, two to three days per week, or full-time, four to five days per week. Compensation for full-time physicians is listed as $250,000–$500,000 per year, with per-patient and per-procedure pay and quarterly bonus programs. Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution.
Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
DEA license, or eligibility to obtain one.
No previous wound care or procedural experience is required; comprehensive wound care training is provided.
Candidates must complete pre-employment confidential DiSC testing and relevant skills testing.

Responsibilities

Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
