About The Position

Valley Medical Group, an independent, primary care-based multi-specialty group and training partner of Baystate Medical Center in Western Massachusetts, has openings for board-certified or eligible internal medicine physicians interested in primary care in our offices in Amherst, Easthampton, Northampton and Greenfield. This is a rare opportunity to join a financially stable practice with the ability to become a shareholder and have the option to teach family medicine residents. The position involves seeing an average of 18–20 patients per day with light shared call from home. Each physician is assigned a dedicated Medical Assistant and has access to triage nurses to help manage portal messages. Behavioral health practitioners are integrated into primary care, and dedicated, experienced physician mentors are available. The role offers a comprehensive benefit package, with an additional stipend for teaching advanced practitioners and residents if desired. There is a clinical academic appointment to UMass and a strong, on-site behavioral health team. Services available on-site include lab, mammography, physical and occupational therapy.
