About The Position

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician for a Medical Director position in Williamsport, PA. This office serves the County workers of Lycoming County and their families, offering onsite Primary medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, X-Ray, and Behavioral Health. The role focuses exclusively on outpatient care in a collaborative, team-based environment with an emphasis on quality, continuity, and preventive medicine. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Active Pennsylvania state medical license or willing to obtain
DEA registration (or eligibility)

Nice To Haves

Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
Experience with EMR systems

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in an outpatient setting
Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and wellness visits
Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care
Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification
Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services as needed
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices
Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
