About The Position
Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Physician for a Medical Director position in Williamsport, PA. This office serves the County workers of Lycoming County and their families, offering onsite Primary medicine, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, X-Ray, and Behavioral Health. The role focuses exclusively on outpatient care in a collaborative, team-based environment with an emphasis on quality, continuity, and preventive medicine. NEW GRADS ARE WELCOME TO APPLY.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Pennsylvania state medical license or willing to obtain
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
Nice To Haves
- Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Experience with EMR systems
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients in an outpatient setting
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Perform routine physical exams, preventive screenings, and wellness visits
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management and follow-up care
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modification
- Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical best practices
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support staff to deliver high-quality care
